FMX fans and riders rejoice – the Australian FMX Pro Open is finally here! The Australian FMX Pro Open is a first-time event. The crème de la crème of professional FMX elite will go head-to-head in what is sure to be a showdown like no other as they battle for the first place crown and the chance to win a cool $10,000 in cash.

And a first place winner will not be hard to get; Australia has certainly shown it is capable of creating the world’s best athletes for FMX in recent years, with Robbie Maddison consistently breaking world distance records and Blake “Bilko” Williams taking home X Games Gold and Silver. We have set ourselves a high standard of excellence and proven that we really are the “ones to beat” when it comes to FMX on an international scale.

That’s where the Australian FMX Pro Open comes in. We need a competition to determine Australia’s elite. We need an event to draw in crowds and set a standard for FMX within Australia. The Australian FMX Pro Open intends to do just that, with professional competition for Best Whip, Best Trick and FMX, selecting the rider who can show off their skills while taming the intense course of dirt hits, 75-foot kickers a super kicker and the infamous 120-foot ramp!

The course will be challenging; but the riders will be up to it! Already confirmed for this event is a stream of professional FMX athletes, including Matt Schubring, Blake Williams, Cam Sinclair, Kain Saul, Steve Mini, Jackson Strong, Robbie Marshall, Rhys Hillier, Jarryd McNeil, Josh Sheehan, Jake Bowen, Leigh Harriman and more with entries still available to professional riders.
