advance'n timing ?

anyone been playing around with advancing the timing on the big bore 50's ?

Seen how to do it just wondering what people thoughts are and if there are any do's and dont on the different bikes ...

i got a 05 thump 125.. timing magnet thingy is setup the same as a stock honda 50.

ummm well i did it to my stock fiddy for some reason, and didnt really notice any difference whatsoever.

but i will be installing a bigbore this week hopefully so i will find out if it makes any difference then.

if anyone wants to make there stock fiddy rev up quicker then move the needle in the slide up. it works, well it worked on my fifty anyway.

another rev up quick - was to vent the vavle covers on the head dunno if it works or not will be doing it this on the weekend. have a bullet alloy CAT breather i'll be using will post some pic's

i vented my bikes head yesterday seemed to make a slight diffrence i didnt do it like on 50 mods site i tapped a thread into the cover and found a nice brass fitting to screw into it then slipped the hose over the top of the fitting and clamped it off nice tight failsafe seal
