Green police ground bike daredevil Cam Sinclair
So much for a free country... Sincs has been banned from riding at his private training ground! Cam has invested alot in terms of $$ and time to setup his compound and alot of you have probably enjoyed some of my images from there. This is another case of people being stopped from riding on private property by over zealous councils.. Is it time we stand up and be heard? I think so... I also think it's maybe time for some of the big players in the Australian dirt bike industry to make some noise too???? I reckon the dirt bike scene in Australia would become extremely small if everyone is eventually banned from riding on private property...
From the Herald Sun: A TOP motorcycle stunt rider has been forced to stop using a property in outer Melbourne as a training track. Freestyle motocross gold medallist Cam Sinclair had been practising jumps at his in-laws' Cranbourne South block until the local council stepped in. The City of Casey said the green wedge land had high conservation value and was being used illegally as a racing track. In a recent decision, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal ordered racing activities on the land to stop and for the owners to submit an ecological report about the removal of native vegetation. VCAT heard the orders had been agreed to and that Sinclair and his wife, Brooke, were seeking planning permission to move motorcycle jumps elsewhere on the block. Sinclair, 28, almost died in 2009 while attempting a double backflip during an event in Spain. He is to perform in the Nitro Circus Live show at Rod Laver Arena on May 25-27.

I know and it's becoming all too common. Some places have been riden on for years and it only takes one person to complain.. Read the link below I posted a few weeks ago. If one person complains then that could be it for you, you could be fined for riding on your property.. One person complains!?!?! That's bullshit in my book anyway you cut it..
