shaving your seat is easy,
step 1 - use small screwdriver to pry out staples on the bottom side (make sure you pull all the stapes out and dont leave like halfs and shit in there just makes re-stappling ti a nightmare) step 2 mark out either side with a permanent texta make sure the are even on either side and that the line stays the same distance from the edge the whole way around ( i usually find 30mm - 50mm to be pretty good all depends on how ya like it) step 3 - get either a bread knife ( the sometimes overheat and break if used for to long, sorry mum) or get a flexible saw that is used for cutting palm leaves and stuff in the garden the one that has pretty hectic teeth on it). start at the top of the seat closest to the fuel tank and start sawing until the blade gets in there. then carefully cut along the line ( checking on both sides everytime you push and pull the saw) step 4 - once you have cut the main chunk out pull out a angle grinder ( or file or very course sand paper) and smooth out all the edges and get it looking pretty nice otherwise youll see the bumps when you put the seat cover on. note: wear welding gloves when doing this and put seat in the vise because the angle grinder grips like **** and could loose a finger ![]() step 5 place seat cover back on and put in only 4 staples ( 1 at top 1 at bottom and 1 on each side) make sure you pull the cover ever time you put a staple in. also make sure your staples arent longer then about 10mm or youll feel then in your ass on the next jump you do! if there to long use side cutteres to cut them shorter at about 20 staples at a time. once the 4 staples are in work around the seat by putting staples evenly between the ones already there ( so like halving the gap) keep doing this while pulling the cover so it stays tight and even in the middle. once there are about a staple every 10 - 20mm then you should be fine ( but feel free to put more in if ya dont want it peeling off. step 6 attach seat to bike and huck some jumps hope this helps
