F1 Australian GP: Crusty Demon Robbie Marshall Jumps Spinning Helicopter Blades

Gearing up for his first performance at the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix, Crusty Demon Robbie Marshall defied death earlier today with a breathtaking jump over the spinning blades of a helicopter at Avalon Airport.

Marshall's ramp-to-ramp jump was an exciting prelude to the inaugural Crusty Demons Cup, taking place over the four days of the 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne's Albert Park circuit.

In a world exclusive, Marshall, and his fellow Crusty Demons including Jackson Strong and Kyle Loza, will participate in a brand new competitive format that’s guaranteed to amaze crowds as the riders attempt to execute the best whip, best trick and best combo to be crowned the winner.

The stunt comes after Tom Atakiyan from Sydney entered his outrageous idea into a Facebook contest. "I'm a massive F1 fan and I can't wait to see the stunt that I challenged the Crusty Demons to perform come to life."

In a coup for event goers, Sunday General Admission tickets can still be purchased at the special price of $79 prior to 1 March, 2012. This includes the Crusty Demons performances, the thrilling 2012 Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix, a bumper schedule of support categories and entertainment galore.

Crowds will witness a host of extreme tricks as the Crusty riders compete for glory and $50,000 worth of prize money.

The Crusty Demons Cup will culminate after the main race on Sunday 18 March in what is set to be nothing short of a thrilling and spectacular Grand Finale.

Marshall's helicopter jump today has added to his impressive motocross resume, which includes first place at the Red Bull X-ray Speed and Style last year.

The 28 year-old has been around the Motocross, Freestyle Motocoss and Supercross scene since he started riding at the young age of four. His natural talent and ability continues to astound crowds around the world.
