yes you have to be a member, its $150 to join and then $10 each day that you ride.

I've riden Nunawading and yer it rocks, its been a while though as I am slack and get bored of tracks really quick... lol As someone said before since the SX was there a while back the track is kinda more SX than MX now in my humble opinion... At least I think it was the SX a little while ago when the track was all changed... And the best past is its only 10mins from my house :) and yes the MUST be a member part sucks... I reckon that they should have a visitor type deal... I would be there more often thats for sure...

Oh and I snuck on there once or twice at like 10pm with a few mates and our 50's (we all had like headlamps on so we could cut a lap or 2 :D) but I never said that cause thats like really bad and stuff :)

I suppose you are right about the membershipm but i dont think it would have been me I like was there twice on my 50 and like for 2 laps and then bailed down to the old quarry... I kinda felt bad so yer didn't stick around, I just wanted to try my 50 out on the track there... :)

im doin a few jumps at the moment, i just started ridin there again after almost 2 years of no riding at all.

the track is so much different now from when i was last riding there.

yeh i had my first ride there about 3 weeks ago and i used to be a member 2 years ago and its so different but i really like the super cross sort of them going on . i can jump the table top after the berm, the front table top,the double after that, the first double in the rythem section and the back table top and i recon i could do all the jumps there just with a bit of practise cause i haden riden motocross for two years and i was jus getting used to it and stuff what jumps can u do

Hi guys this my first post on the net ever. Just moved to melbourne. been out to nunnawading track a few times as i live close by. The tarck and facilities look great but i have one complaint. Every time ive asked about becoming a member i get blown off. I work hard for my bikes (married) but i feel like im not what their after. Am i missing somthing.

I wanted to join that track a year or so ago when Cal 1st got me onto it and they had a year or 2 waiting list so maybe that is why? Its right in the burbs and very very popular. Dunno but I think membership is still open for this year so just do as the dude says and get the forms in quickly and see how you go.

Nice choice of graphics your getting!!! I am currently saving also to get those graphics for my rmz, they look sweet as, best graphics i have seen this year by factory effex, the one industries graphics also look cool aswell but not as cool as dvs, they are only rougly $110 or so eh?

i'v got a boyesen hyflow water pump kit and impelor, tag bars, bar ends, fx backrounds, twin air air filter, did o ring chain and also the dvs kit that should be in tomorrow i think thats all

Kool when you put ur dvs kit on put up a picture of your bike on here cos it will give me an idea of what mine will look like with the same graphics, cheers!

has anyone had any probs with rim anodizing, coz if not i will anodize my cr rims black or red.

the only problems ive seen with anodized rims is when u change the tyres heaps and eventually u get white lines around the outside of the rim.

It only overheats because you are sitting there on the start line for a while and not getting air through the radiator, ive got an rmz and have not had any problems with it except the valves, they are awesome bikes!

they only over heat if there not getting enough air through the radiator and i dont mean to be affensive if this is but maybe your not riding it hard enough to gety enough air flow through the radiators.
and they stall becasue you not riding it properly there sensitive but u jave to deal with it and use the clutch the properly.
do you ride at nunna wading coz i think iv seen u there coz iv seen a bike like that there do u hav no fear or like bagies or black gear or something

mines 04 and is all stock cooling wise except for the radiator cap.

get a 1.4 radiator cap or a 1.6. also, use engine ice or motul anti-freeze/boil coolant........ should fix your problems.

and dont stay in the one spot for too long, like when lining up at the gate for racing. dont have it running the whole time, it will probably overheat.

yeah thats me ive got the 03 shift baggies and my black "bear" jersey my mum made. but im wearing my old oniel pants and 05 thor pase jersey a bit know. yeah the truble with my stalling in turns is i didn't put it bak to 1st and in starts i couldn't hear my engin and i must of let out too much clutch. hey do the 05's overheat coz u shouldn't have to leave em of lke that.
and squeek when did u do ur leg? coz i swaw i saw u last race day or the club day before that.

they have bigger radiators, so no they dont.

when u are lining up just have it running for like 1 minute and then shut it off, when the 30 second thing comes up start it up again.

also, try a boyeson impeller and pro circuit water pump cover. (or u might get the boyeson as a kit, impeller and cover).

try the radiator cap and engine ice first, it will probably fix your problems.

I wouldnt be trying to start the bike at the 30 second board.

My RMZ never over heats and I start it when the last lap board first goes up. It runs for a good 3-4 minutes before we take off.

Without being mean Id say the stalling is more your riding style than the clutch. I never stall in a race (not that I say that Im guessing it will happen this weekend) I do stall the start but thats just me being a gumby

The 05 rmz's still do over heat, but not as quick, yeah they have bigger rediators but there is still a flow problem in the left radiator. when u are at a race, start up ur bike and rev it to warm it up a bit, then ride in the chute or behind the gates for a few laps to make sure it's warmed, then kill it on the line, and then watch for the last lap board , and when u see the leader about half way through his last lap start it up again. mix ur own coolant at 60% coolant to 40% water

im only in C grade becasue i havent really been racing much lately and i havent been riding much lately like today was my first time riding the club track this year.......like ive been a member for about 2 years but i havent ridden there this year, i rode heaps last year at nunners but yeah this year ive been going up to muskery alot (near heathcote) and so i havent got around to riding nunners but i will hopefully be there abit more in the future

u dont need 2 use all ur clutch to change gears. play around with it and u'll feel were it engages... if u have 2-stroke pre-mix oil (motul 800 synthetic only!!!) put it in the tank, one cap full every 2nd tank. it will sve ur valve!!! trust me we paid over $700 to get it all fixed, and that was miner. dont worry about performance coz it doesn't afect it at all...

oh yah skywalker if u dont already get some tapers. they realy help with ruff landing. i cansed both doubles yesterday and they socked em up nice!! another good thing to get is the air box cover so u can clean out ur airbox without an air filter ;) it will save ur engine heaps and i think there only $40-$50 so yeah woth wile on any bike...

the day was all going good until chris hopped on the yz250. i saw the whole thing, he was going pretty hard on a bike he was unfamiliar with and the first jump on the first lap the front just lifted up and he landed on a 45 degree angle (opposite way, like this \ ).

broken leg, maybe broken back. he was supposed to be going to box hill hospital but when me and russ got there, they said he had been taken to the alfred so it must be pretty bad, either that or box hill was full.
