do i have to get a new head wen i get the takegawa hyper s-stage 88cc kit or the bbr 88cc flat top piston kit and also which one do u think i shuld get

nah if you hav a 70 thumpstar you can put those kits in. the head on the 70 will be better than on a stocker

for a honda u dont need a new head for the combo kit.
i havent had any experiance with the BBR big bore, but i know the combo kit runs awesome, and you will probably end up wanting a 20mm carb later on, so personally i would go with the takegawa combo kit.
