Got bored the other night, and soon as it has been AGES since i made anything with Photoshop, i thought I'd better get back into practise, and ended up with this. Pete thought i should take the tiling off the back, lower Steve's seatgrab pic down a little and make the barbed wire "shinier"........i did that... "v2" lol, Pete liked, but i still thought this original version was better, the tiles and the dull scratched up wire, go with the old, rural type theme i was goin for. So Meh, thought I'd slap it up here if any of ya's wanna use it as a wallpaper. Not my best work, but not too bad i guess.

before i try and post a background, can any1 tell me how the hell i convert a bitmap image to a jpeg on windows xp? i could jus rename as as "name".jpg on 98 and it would convert, but that doesnt seem to work on XP

Well you can either do it the easy way as most of us do, open it in an editing program, such as Photoshop and resave it as a jpg. OR ya can do it this way...

Open a folder in windows anywhere, go to TOOLS at the top menu, scoot down to the bottom, to FOLDER OPTIONS. click on that, it'll bring up another seperate box, scoot accross to the VIEW Tab, then down to a box just under the hide hidden folders boxes that says " Hide Extensions for known file types, Untick that, and it will change all the files on ya PC that are known to windows to "name.extension" then ya can just change it like ya did with '98 :D

one simple lil button called "Print Scrn | SysRq in the top right of ya keyboard takes a screenshot of your monitor and places it temporarily on the clipboard, then ya just gotta go paste it into like photoshop or something and save it as a jpg :D done and done

Sorry to correct ya man, but not true. It should be in your start menu in Accessories and named Clipboard Viewer. But as the name suggests, it is just a VIEWER, ya cant really do anything with it, like save it directly from there, it's just to view anything you've copied, be it pictures or writting. It's a temporary storage place, and will only hold one file at a time. :)

ALL Windows operating systems come with it, it's located in your System32 folder ;)

C:\Windows\System32\clipbrd

If ya wanted to know where it's located :)

But yeah, as ya said, it's as good as not havin one lol, no one ever uses the program to look at shit, they just copy/cut/paste/save and be done with it. :p
