Yeh was a great weekend for byrner, He was on fire in practice, Carmichael held the fastest time in practice and that was a 57.703, that was until byrner came out and got a 53.978...... In his heat race he came 3rd behind Reed and Windham.... And in the main he got the holeshot whilst Reedy went down in the first corner and was left in last place..... Carmichael overtook Byrner and Byrne held on until the 10th or 11th lap when Reedy came flying through the pack to take 2nd away from byrne.... Byrne had plenty of pressure from David Vuillemin in the last 3 laps or so but held on for a 3rd place and his first ever podium in his career of 250 ama racing... Well Done Byrner!!

Typo? I don't think (And I know he didn't because I listend to the webcast) Byrner beat RC laptime by 4 seconds.

It isn't his first. (And lets hope it's not his last).

No its not a typo, that was in practice, got it off the results and he had the fastest lap time in practice, and they were all saying on the webcast and in the reports that its his first 250 AMA podium in his career, im pretty sure he even said it in a interview
