Avalon Postponed...

Unfortunately due to last weeks record rainfall across Victoria, the original date for round 2 of the Honda Summer of Supercross Series has had to be postponed to a later date (new date to be advised). With the Avalon circuit still underwater, there was little choice but to change the event's date.
Yarrive Konsky (Full Throttle Sports director)- "It was our intention that by holding the event in February, it would give us the best chance of clear weather. However, with the sort of deluge Victoria received in a 36 hour period last week, the Avalon circuit just couldn't handle that much rain and it filled up like a swimming pool. With the supercross circuit yet to be built inside the raceway, it was obvious that we were running out of time and a change of event date was needed. We thank all our riders, supporter and most importantly the spectators for their understanding through this late change and look forward to seeing you all at a later date"
The revised date for round 2 of the Honda Summer of Supercross will be announced as soon as possible.

After the unfortunate circumstances that forced the postponement of the Avalon round of the Honda Summer of Supercross Series (February 12 th ), a revised date had been announced for Saturday the 5th of March.

The new date will see not only Australia's masters of Supercross in action on the Avalon circuit, but the fans will also be treated to all the thrills and spills of "FMX Unleashed" as the freaks of flight hit the ramps throwing down the most insane moves ever seen! As an added bonus, the freestyle wizards of OZ will be bringing out the big guns as they lay down the biggest, craziest, mind blowing BACKFLIPS you'll ever see!

"While it is unfortunate that we had to postpone the supercross and FMX Unleashed on the 12th due to recent record rains, we look forward to seeing an even bigger turn out of motorsports fans as part of the F1 Grand Prix Weekend" said Full Throttle Sports director Yarrive Konsky. "We are pulling out the stops with our Avalon circuit and the riders will be put to the ultimate test on the dirt battlefield that our Tracktech crew will be creating specially for this event. It's going to be special that's for sure!"

With the change of date for Avalon, round 2 of the Honda Summer of Supercross Series will now be held at the Bacchus Marsh Motorsports Complex on the 26th of February. Round 3 of the Honda Summer of Supercross Series will now be held at the Avalon Raceway on the 5th of March and includes rd 2 of the FMX Unleashed Series.

Avalon Raceway is located on Old Melbourne Road, Avalon. Take the Avalon Airport turn off from Princes Highway and follow the signs. Avalon Raceway can be found on Melway’s map 424 C3.

Tickets are available at the gate. Ticket prices are- Adult $25 (16 and over), Children & Concession $15 (3 to under 16) & Family $70 (2+2). Gates open at 5pm and racing starts at 7pm.

ahh sorry man so its the 26th feb at p@rwin and the 5th of march at avalon?
