race Questions

hey i think im gunna get a ktm 200 sx for my next bike but will i only be able to race in all powers at motocross or will i be able to race against 250 2 strokes or if yas know anything about this just let me know

yeah im sure u can race againt the 250's, u will be disadvantaged a bit but the question is y dont u just get a 250?

you can race open class on them. They rip, very fast bikes. I always thought they maybe a little disadvantaged but adman raced the shootout on his 250f on the weekend against 450fs, at clubman level they seemed to have no advantages, Adam beat most of them to the corner as well.

yea well im not worried about being disadvantaged i will be able to ride a 200 alot faster than a 250 2t but thanx for that stuff keep the replys rolling if anyone else knows more

in enduros u can race it in the 125 class because that class is 0-200cc but at most motocross events u ride in open or whatever the 250 strokes can race in so can the 200. the 200sx is a sick bike. its closer in power to a 250 than a 125. i realy liked riding it, they are so fun to ride. for a decent 04 model you will probably be looking at a fraction under 7g. if you can find a good one id get it, you wont be disapointed

you can ride it in the open classes. I know a girl who rides hers in the lites class with no issues either. You may come across some entries where they have a minimum requirement though, I dont know how common that is, I just remember seeing it at least once but I doubt they would exclude you being under the minimum anyway.

of course u can u can ride 125's in the open class and 250f's thats why its called OPEN!!!

You will be at a disadvantage riding a 250cc or 450cc. The faster the bike, the less you will be able to handle it. You will use much more power on the 125, and go faster.

they cant be raced against 2 stroke 125's or 250 fours..

that depends on what sort of a rider you are robbo

yeah,that's all racing really comes down to,how good the rider is not the cc (except when 80cc are up against 125cc and that sorta stuff)
