That is the question.

But hey, whadda you guys do.

I was on a 4 banger so i allways did. But even when i get the Kwaka I still will. Put it this way, i dunno how to ride any other way.

I think its just as fast (fast what am i talking about we are Freeriders we dont need to go that fast over a jump lol)
To use clutch and i think not sure that its better on your gear box.

Well Pete i'm in the same boat as you, I'm a 4 stroker from day 1, and i always used the clutch, hell, thats what it's there for. When i did ride the chook chasers, i also used the clutch. I am not a racer, nor do i pretend to be, hell i dont even pretend to be a good freestyler, lol, but I'd emagine racers and the like would use the clutch to some degree, maybe not all the time, but it does cop a fair work out.

Just my thoughts, no doubt every1 will correct me.........:)

Nah. Most of my racer mates dont even use a clutch for anything. Not even changing down.

i ride the clutch everywhere. (b grade 85cc).
its there for a reason, so why not use it to help get out of corners. its quicker to grab the clutch and change up, rather then changing up. better for you bike.

i only use my clutch to change gears initally when begin riding and stopping and to give maybe a boost comin out of corner or when tap the back brake to bring the front end down:P i never use it for changing gears while riding. if u dint use the clutch when changing down u get better engine braking as well
Theres no need for the clutch on either 2 or 4 stroker but used more often on the 2 stroker

i find it easier to use when changing gear using a clutch.

*high revs*hold clutch*rev it*change up*rev it*Release clutch*

gives me a bit more of a boost for the next gear.. well im a racer.

but other wise, when im having fun, i dont do that, only when i practise and race

i find u gotta think more when using the clutch i just rev let go throttle click up and get on the gas again dont loose any speed and u dont have to do any unecassary movemnets but than again i spose its like everything up to personaly preference:)

jeezus have any of you guys eveer raced,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a 125cc would be uslesss with out a clutch................. on a tight track with litttle run ups at the jumps... it is vitaaul you use the or slipp the clutch...... you can have peak revs(powerband) within milli seconds with just a slight pulll on clutch,,,,,,,,,,,,, giving you more speeed out of the corner and giving you more time to click another gear before the up ramp... S o in gerenaral it really is like a turbo........ havent any of you guys pullled the clutch in a fannned the throtles to pull a mono........there are more reasons a bike has clutch other than just to change gear...

it's right there inbetween the "V" and the "X"

HAHA.

Oh, and yes, i also have found the clutch on my new bike, right up there on the handlebars.......who would have thought to look all the way up there..., and i put it to good use 99% of the time in many forms.
GO the Clutch

i use mine all the time ... you gotta use em to get revs out of corners and stuff ... short shift it flick of the clutch and ya roosting .... sometimes whn i'm pinned i don't use it to change gears or when i'm changing down quickly i just kick it down without using the clutch but i use my clutch all thew time for getting up revs so i can stay in a higher gear and go faster. i have 1 finger on the clutch ALL of the time when i'm riding so i can just blip it and instant power.

I ment, Using clutch to change gears. No doubt it is awsome like another gear to pop it outta corners

if you use the cluth enough you dont even realise you do it, its the best for a quick boost when your head to head with somebody just clutch, rev and let it go and you take off.
