hey boys n girls

Im currently helping the cancer kids fund in maryborough qld and we are looking to hold a huge event in september including street car comps, sound offs, harley stuff, live bands and heaps of other crap.

I need your help, Im thinking bout runnin an amature comp and maybe a demo, We are going to work out some prizes n stuff in the near future but I need numbers first. There will be heaps of media coverage including channel 7 and a few newspapers.

All monies made will be going straight to the fund and the kids so anyone that would like to go in the comp or help out in any way reply to this thread or pm me.

I'll post more stuff as I hear it, prolly in the next week.

For those of you who dont know where maryborough is - its like 1 hour from bundaberg and 20 mins from hervey bay and about 2 and a half hours from brissy

Just wondering with this comp being "reletivly" close to my shag pad.......who out of every1 thats going, would be interested in dropping into my place AKA "Mungo Compound 2" on the way home for a bit of a party/ride/"wind down" arvo/night. Maryborough is "around" 4-5hrs north of where i live, and anyone having to pass through my general area would be welcome to bring themselves/bikes/beer/babes for an arvo of casual riding, meeting, greeting, drinking, socialising........

This is just an idea i had, and actually still is just an idea..... problems being the comp is on Saturday, fine, but the day everyone would be travelling homeward, would be a Sunday, and anyone having to get home and work on the Monday would not be able to attend......

I'm just collecting interest on the matter.... just PM me or post here i guess. If there are enough riders wanting to have a play, it should be a go'er, but at this time it is JUST an idea. :)

ah well, went home on weekend to do some practising, didn't get to ride until this morning before i had to drive back to brizzie for work again.... did superman, thought yeah i can land this no handed easy... phhh how wrong was i, landed on flat, hangers did the wobbles and highsided me. sorta layed on the ground for a little bit gatherin my marbles then heard me bike layin on the ground revving like shit with petrol pissin out everywhere... so yeah that woke me up good and proper. ah well, i'l attack it all again next weekend

ok, after reading all of your moans and groans about this event, I'm wanting to put my hand up to take some mad pics, also want to let you all in on a bit of a secret, I got a contact at freerider, MAYBE, and only MAYBE I might talk him into making an appearence, but I'm definately up for it. The hols are good for me, and if you want I can round up some riders?? I really want to help out cos my way of thinking is my kids (not that I have any yet!) may be in that possi one day. Tell me what you think, specially insane, cos I want to pick your brain over a few things
