How u doing everyone.Im new to this bored and i thought id start my 1st post with a rollcall.Just so i can familiarise myself with everyone and everyone vice versa:) Bit like a a/s/l thread i guess,which i searched and couldnt find one,hense my starting this thread.
Im a male from Melbourne.
Ride an RGV and im without a Dirtbike at the moment.My last one was a 98WR250.Im planing on getting a YZ 0r KTMsx 250 in the near future coz i havnt been out jumping in 20months:( apart from on my MTB.i also ride lots of mtb,keeps ya fit and you can still get to bust big.

Its sore NoLimits. But i guess thats why God invented Panidine Forte lol. Its funny, when you break somthing its more of an aching pain rather than a sharp pain when you skin yourself.


I get this bloody cast off on June the 4th, i have it on for 2 and a half weeks and its starting not to hurt so much. :)

Hey Shifty your right... Kind of funny hey... The bit that spins me out is when you break it and you look at it you go "Well that didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.." It's all the addrenaline running crazy in your body... When all the morphine and drugs run out two days later it's a completly different story..

I vote for self administered morphine that you can take home with you... Man I'd never leave the house... Just sit there wacked out for 6 weeks...

Give it a week or so and you'll feel heaps better..

Haha exactly. What I thought was really weird and most people experience this is when your about to crash or in my case being pommeld through the air. It seems like so long untill you hit the ground or from the point where you relise you gonna crash and actule crash.

Its like you could have a convosation with somone "oh yeah this is gonna hurt, hmmm how could i make this least hurt"

They spelled the feeling out exactly on the movie "ESPN's ULTIMATE X"

When i fell to the ground and the bike landed on my leg i tryed to get up but my leg was like in shock or somthing it physically wouldnt move. It was freeky.

Then my stupid mates hoped out of the 4x4 and try to lift me from under the bike. Im like "DUDE lift the bike up first" lol

Yeah I know what your talking about.. I once T-boned a car on a ZXR-750 doing 160KM and I was sailing in the air for about 2 seconds, but it felt like 20 seconds... At one point I was about to start flapping my arms.. "I recon I can fly out of this..."

I did two full rotations and decided it was a good idea to try and put my foot down and run my way out of it... Boys and girls don't EVER try that... I actually heard my leg snap... Broke it in two places.. Magic..

Boys and girls.. Just a few tips.. If all is going bad.. One of the youngsters on the weekend found out some of this stuff first hand:
1. Go limp. Don't resist. If your jumping and it looks bad, wait until the bike is close to the ground then bail... Better to bail from 2 feet than 20 feet...
2. Pull your legs and arms (fingures are seriosuly important here) in as close as you can to your body. If possible wrap them around you and hold tight.
3. Try and find the way out with least resistance... Slidding is good as it will reduce the body damage and the speed you are travelling at... A bit of skin is nothing..And BTW the flesh will grow back.. Breaking bones sucks big time...
4. YOU CANNOT FLY. YOU DON"T HAVE WINGS.. Trust me on this one...

nah i'd say bail nice and early so you can at least get away from your bike ... your still gunna hit the ground at the same speed or close to it ... i've bailed from about 15ft high and all i got was i nice dose of gravel rash

I haven't bailed, i always try to stay on and ride it out, even when i know i'm screwed. had a get off on a 95 footer at start of the year, knew i was a goner, tried to hold it, came out with busted knee and alot of gravel rash. 6 months on, and i can't feel some spots on my knee, tho other spots i can barely press on before it stings like a bastard - shoulda went to doc... meh what u gonna do

hey all, I'm hoping I'm not the only chick in here. I don't ride, but I'm round bikes all the time. I'm a photographer of the student persuasion, I'm trying to make contacts with freestylers so I can build up my portfolio. pro-x stop being a d i c k all what pic taken chick is doing is asking people of they know any freestylers in her area so she can maybe take pics of them shes not being political she is just trying to do her job and for the mulisha style th9ng if there were no photogarphs you wouldnt even know what a rock solid looks like unless you go to the actual fmx demo/contest so photographs play a huge part in fmx
