dear fusterated rhys,

i am hopfully competing in the amuture comp at the australia freeride pro am. so far wat i've heard the gaps will b set at 60ft min for the amuture, and the set up is gonna be like the x games, few ramps and a dirt hit or sumthing like that,,, i'll be stepping up to the 125 from the 85 and i duno how much time i will have to learn all my tricks again, and get used to the whole deal of a bigger bike and shit, but it should all be kool,

was just reading the news over at mtx .... the comp is coming along sick!! i wish i had a decent 50 to go in the 50 race.. i'd go down for sure if my 50 wasn't a piece of crap!

The ramp set up for the ameture class will be 2 60 footers and 2 at around 75, 80. During practice the ramps will not be moved in so you must be prepared to hit a comp ramp at 60 foot straight off the bat. Ill post a pic of a comp ramp at 60 foot if i can.

It would be cool to see a doubles comp at X games in AuS. They had one at the 99 X games but none since.

yo lil peeps practice up the comp will be good 60 foot is easy as pie and stil prety safe plus parwan landing is super safe but yeah ya gotta hit 60 strate up gfet the gap diald if ya have a ramp and if ya dont have one build one it aint hard 2.6 metres tall 6 metres long and the face is a 9.1 metre radias use 40x 40 rhs. simple and yur labnding must be about 3 metres tall no less that about 200 cubic metres of dirt to make a half decent landing. yeah ok all good the more the merryer and freerider and it looks like ADB will be there so ya might even get yur pic in a mag plus sponsors will be on the look out there so step up dont be shy even if ya cant do that many tricks it will be great fun and realy good experiance for you all.
