Australia's richest 4-stroke series will continue at Bacchus Marsh Speedway on the 31st of May for Round 3 of the Yamaha Thumper-X Series, with it's first race under lights.
Feel the roar as 40 big 4-strokes hurtle towards the first corner on what will be an exciting track made up of a mix of supercross and motocross. With the track running both inside and OUTSIDE the stadium, it's going to be an awsome nights racing!
With round 2 action at Pakenham bringing some of the closest, exciting racing ever seen in Australia, the addition of night racing and a dash of supercross style obstacles is certain to raise the excitement level even higher!
Pro-Open class leader Cameron Taylor (Boost Mobile Yamaha) has so far won every race bar one, however with Full Throttle Sports Honda's Troy Dorron & Jye Harvey, Sale Honda's Adam Millar and host of other hard charging Pros hot on his heels, Cameron will have his work cut out for him to continue his winning streak.
In the Pro-Lites class it's Cameron Taylor again who's been doing most of the winning so far, but closing in fast on Taylor's speed is last years Pro-Lites Thumper-X champion- Adam Robinson.
With the rise of interest in Quad's, the racing has been fierce and intense with full fields in all Quad classes. Sunbury Yamaha's Anthony Maddalon has the points lead so far in A-grade, but with Craig Spiers and Rodney Scale each taking a win last round, the title is far from a foregone conclusion. These guys really fly!
