2005 thumpstar 90cee cee

hello all, how are we doing today?

I have been looking at the 2005 thumpstar 90cc in my local shop for $2,395 (which is different to the rrp on the thumsptar site[$2,200])

anywho i was reading all the specs n stuff buuut i really have no idea what everything means, which is why i came here to ask if anyone could tell me anything about it?

is there anything that will need upgrading on it in the near future?
i sat on it n i was thinking the back shock might need upgrading, but they cost a bit of cashto upgrade, so is it really neccasery? i only weigh 54kg n im not gonna be doing any huge jumps.

well there are things u will need to change but the dont have to be changed right away...like the chain roller and chain adjusters..get kx 60 one's.....u can put a different air filter on if u like...if your not goin to do big jumps you wont have to worry about changing the shock....u would change the bars because the standard one's are pretty uncomfortable....the best bet would be tag mini plays or pro tapers...there about $90-$100...thats about all you would need to do mate

put some new hoops on her aswell mate. those stock tyres aint much chop when it gets slippery. they r only $40 each

I picked one up about a week ago for $2100. It came with pro tapers and an alright air filter. im doing some medium sized jumps and it is holding up pretty good.

my cousin is coming up this weekend with his black one and we are hiring a bob cat and making a sweet 50 track. ill get some pics when the tracfks done.
