Auto-clutch query

gday 50lovers, ive been into the local shop lately looking at the 2005 thumpstar 90cee cee, for $2,390. firstly i would like to know if this is a good price?

while i was there a strange man who works there appeared and began to tell me that a guy showed him a little trick with the auto-clutch. he said to me that if you put a bit of pressure on the gear peg, then it will engage the clutch, but it wont actauly change gears, terefore allowing you to drop the clutch n wheelie away.

now my friends, is this true/possible?

1 last question, does anyone have thumpstars website, for i am too dumb and therefore cannot find it :)

on my 50 i can hold the gear lever down and it will not engage until u let it back up, so YES you can drop the clutch kinda, and it also has a screw on the side to adjust the auto clutch and i can make it engage as soon as i click it down, but it's better for it to engage after u let it back up.

yea if you hold the lever up a little with your toe it will engage the clutch and you can do it in any gear, or at least on my 50 you can

www.thumpstar.com.au that is the original thumpstar site...and yer that is the average price for the 90 cee cee thumpstar. anyway with my thumpstar wen im in 3rd i can lift the gear shifter up and rev it then lower it back dwon and it's still in 3rd....so yer it's possible mate...hope u get the thumpstar;)

i got my thumpstar 90 for $2100 got em down $100. they are sick

yea on my thumpstar you hold down or up the gear fully and it acts as a clutch so you can drop it in any gear. its good going from 1st then dropping to 2nd, it wheelstands awesome
