hey guys

im thinking of making a wireless helmet cam for races and stuff.

i know nothing about them. i have a cam to plug into - it accepts analogue input.

anyone know what i need - or wear to start?

i went to the helcam site at eatmydirt.com.au but i think the wireless set up was like over a grand without cam - i could be wrong though cos i dont know any of the technical terms and stuff.

so any help is appreciated or any ideas.

:p :D

thank u

You could use an XCAM with a battery pack that you would have to make.. I've seen it done before for radio controlled cars.. It's fully 2.4Ghz wireless and can also record sound.. You can connect the receiver to either a VCR or computer with a capture card.. I use them in my house for security connected to my home automation computer..

They are fairly cheap at less than $200 a peice... For more info go to www.eon3.com.au

Let me know how you go...
