Take several thousand tons of dirt, shape it into a seemingly impassable course of jumps, bumps and hairpin corners, let loose 20 of the best Supercross racers Australian has to offer and watch the action unfold!
That's the recipe for the bar bashing, wheel crashing action that hits Chesterfield Farm, Scoresby on Sunday the 30th of March for Round 3 of the Yamaha Supercross Open.
With riders appearing such as series leader- Troy Dorron (Full Throttle Sports Honda), Australian Supercross Championship leader Jay Marmont (Motorex KTM), local hero Cameron Taylor (Boost Mobile Yamaha), unbeaten Bendigo youngster Jye Harvey (Full Throttle Sports Honda) and the fearless Cheyne Boyd (Motorex KTM), the quality of racing will be world class.
This is big time Supercross on a full size outdoor Supercross track. Big jumps- big bumps! And with the big name riders and team trucks filling the pit area, it will be a great chance to see the stars up close and personal.
Also appearing will be the return of Australia's own back-flip king- Robbie Felli. As only one of a handful of riders to complete this maneuver in the world and the first to do so in Australia, Robbie will launch his 95kg motorcycle up the purpose built steel take off ramp, back-flip with his bike 20 feet in the air to land safely back on the ground. Joining Robbie in the freestyle madness will be bad boy Luke Urek and racer come freestyler, Cameron Sinclair.
As an added attraction, there will be plenty of motorcycle trade stands to cast your eyes over, a huge accessories clearance sale (up to 50% off) and the gorgeous X-Wear girls in attendance.
Racing starts at 12noon with tickets starting at $15 for kids, $20 for adults and family $50 for a family ticket. Limited grandstand seating is also available so get in early to secure your seat.
