I just got the new FreeRiderMX mag, and i was doin the quick pic scan through, before I settle down and read through each and every article thoroughly when i came accross a pic of Kinnaird in his new column for the mag. (page 31) This particular pic was of him layin down a stylish No Handed Catwalk, but that's not what caught my eye. The thing that my eye was drawn to was the, (in my opinion) ATROCIOUS, AWFULL, absolutly shithouse Front and rear spoke gaurds. I guess they're meant to be gaurds of some sort. These gaurds branded the graphix of none other than........Dragon Ball Z. Now is it just me, or does Dragon Ball Z have NOTHING to do with Freestyle motocross???. I know the new DBZ movie is sponsoring him and i spose it's ok to run it every now and then for a few comps, BUT I still think it looks gays on a FMX bike. I have seen a few riders with these gaurds on every now and then, and it really does nothing for the overall look of the bike. Especially when there's shit on them like Dragon Ball Z. Anywho, i just HAD to register my disgust at this, cause i have NEVER seen anything so ***ed on a bike before. I mean, each to their own, especially when it comes to bikes and how they look, everyone's an individual, but I'd like to know how many of you out there, like the look of these gaurds?...

Back in the day of the FMX movie called Airstyle, Mike Jones had sponsership in his wheels, these were slightly different as they were double sided guards inside the spokes that were yellow with back SMP writing on them, i reckon they looked cool as, sure enough i wouldnt use them when going out to practice at the local compound but come competition night they wouldn't look bad just for a bit of extra style. Those ones Dayne had and i have seen Caleb Wyatt with them look gay. Mike Jones different ones looked mad, cause when he would accelerate the rear one would be spinning mad and then the front one would be only just be spinning a little bit do to the front wheel being off the ground then it would catch up when the front wheel went back onto the ground, i just reckon it looked cool,
Dayne's Guards = Gay
Mike Jones's Guards = Sweet (Only In Competition)
