Lets try again, Screensaver v0.3beta

Hey all,
I've been mucking about testing out a screensaver Im putting together, can some of you please download this and test it for me (again :)).. Its a beta and I've used really small images to keep the size down but all I really wanna know, is if it installs and runs ok and everything else.. I belive I fixed the problem Mungoman had and I've installed and tested this one on 3 different PC's however they all ran Windows XP so if others with Win 2000, Millenium ect could try it, that would be rather dandy.. ;) Once a few more have tested it, I'll release, the bigger better version

yeah thats cause I used low res images (really low) so I could keep the size down whilst its getting tested... The big version will kick arse :P

Well, once again, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I still have the exact same problem as Beta v0.2.
It runs fine when run directly from the desktop icon, but when it kicks in Automatically, Sorry, but plain black, once again. and when i move the mouse the go back to the desktop i get that same "unregistered popup box". Are you other guys, Simo and Lippy, Testin in the Display properties aswel???.

Oh yeah, and while I'm here. I am also using Windows XP Home edition Insane.

have you got multiple installs under settings? seems mine has installed twice, once as "fmxaustralia" (v0.2) and once as "Image saver" which is the 0.3 version... Could this be the issue ?

Yeah, Farks me hey, maybe it's something i need to do, maybe i need to register that 2Flyer player thingo or some shit. I'll have a poke around. But if everyone else's gettin it to work, thats all that matters i spose. I'm the only one complaining lol. I've seen it from the direct executable and It's gunna be killer :D

Oh, and na, I unistalled v0.2 Beta before installing v0.3 and it was a clean unistall, so no probs there man.

2flyer is the program Im using to create the exe files/saver itself. I cant see why you get the unreg error (which it aint) and I dont.. Even on my other PC's.. Has got me stuffed lol

I just installed it again and had a look at what the filename was in the display properties and mine installs as "fmxaustralia" under the screensaver list. But anywho, i say if no one else has problems, just go with it. :D

I love it lots. Great work insano. But i didnt like they way you had to press esc to get out of it when it kicks in after your comp has been unused for however long.

go into settings in ya screensaver propities and fix it yaself bro

yeah sorry, i dunno why but I leave that turned off in the program when I make it however it turns on for some reason when it installs.... I will work on fixing it in the next beta version...

Well, how good it is, all depends on if you like Insane's artwork he comes up with, cause thats all it is, changing every few seconds from 1 pic to another. And soon as i think the pix are cool, Hence the Screensaver is also. :D
