As ya already know RJ, I'm plannin on using 40 X 40 SHS for my new ramp. (and some other little parts, that you and Lee know about, ;) hehe)
And for my 1st ramp i used inch X inch SHS. It's only a small one. :)

use 25 x 25 x 3mm or just go bigger with the wall length and smaller with the thickness, BUT NOTE! NEVER USE STEEL UNDER 2MM THICK AS IT IS VERY AT THE BOTTOM BRACING OG THE (WHERE ALL THE PRESSURE IS!)

i meant to say, all the pressure is at the bottom of the ramp, so put lots of bracing there, as when i first bulit my first ramp i bent a cross member on the bottom of the ramp

hehe, yuuuuuuuuuup, I think a lot of people have done that with their 1st attempts, and learnt the hard way. Here's my wood from my 1st ramp, I didn't have my digi at the time, and the frame is fixed now, so i havent got a pic of the bent support, but anywho, as ya can see by the wood, the support didn't look much better, lol.

dude you'll need a lot more than 44m for a full sized ramp ... more like 80m
