Just yet another thought that crossed my mind, that i never really thought about before. What does the Brand name of each Model bike stand for, or where did they come up with it,

Example:

Where did Yamaha get the "YZ" from?

CR stands for Close Ratio. As in Close Ratio Transmition.

No idea about the others though :)

Damm thats a hard one.. Only one I know is the old Honda CB which stands for City Bike... I can guess a couple or at least tell what I think they "mean"... hehehe

YZ - Last on the track, why not last in the alphabet.. ;)
KX - Keep Fingers X'ed (and it might work)
RM - Ride Mellow (or it breaks)
CR - Crazy Ride (Can you tell I like CR's? :))
