View Full Version : Freestyle Motocross Takes Flight In Minneapolis With The Xbox Pro Of Fmx!

AURORA, Ill. - Vans, Inc (NASDAQ: VANS): The Xbox Pro of Freestyle Motocross kicks off the 2003 Vans Triple Crown of FMX series (The 5th series) as the world's top riders descend upon Minneapolis' Target Center April 4 and 5 with more than $160,000 in prize money on the Line. Kenny Bartram, the 2002 Vans Triple Crown Champion will defend his crown against a field expected to include "Mad Mike" Jones, Tommy Clowers, Dustin Miller, Drake McElroy, Ronnie Renner, Clifford Adoptante Nate Adams and more. Action begins each night at 8 p.m. and those who can't make it out to the Target Center can catch the Xbox Pro on NBC Sports August 9 at 3:30 pm EST.


There are two nights of action, Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. both nights and the event begins at 8 p.m. Kids tickets are $5, and adult tickets are $20. Gold level seats are available for $30. For the first 1,500 Saturday ticket buyers through ticketmaster.com will include a free Pit Pass, giving fans a chance to meet the riders, walk the track and check out the bikes beginning at 5:30 pm.

At last year's Xbox Pro of Freestyle Motocross held August 9 and 10 in Tacoma, Washington, Kenny Bartram edged Dustin Miller for the top spot both evenings with Jake Windham and Drake McElroy capturing second and third on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively. Bartram claimed first place on five of six nights of Vans Triple Crown action a year ago. Rising star, Adam Jones made the main event in his first ever Vans Triple Crown event, now is leading the way in IFMA points standings in 2003.
