140km/h! wat a load of shit! the top bikes in finke only get 180-190 max and they are geared up as much as they can with shit loads of aftermarket parts. stock yz85 40km/h slower than a worked cr500, tell him he dont no wat hes on about

man in my opinion people totally right up there speed.. all my 125s( i reckon) would top out at 80 kms with stock gearing ( or geared a few teeth lower on the rear... might go a bit faster on the road

my yz80 did 110km/h flat stick in 6th. was geared a bit lower than stock no to much. had boyseen reeds and a pipe to give it a bit extra.

The 05 YZ125 has 6 gears. The 04 YZ125 has 5.

Um.. 140k's.. no. Theres only one person's YZ85 (aka YZ110) could go that fast and he lives in WA.:p

125's normally go 110-115k's. You can probably gear them up to 135k's.

Ok lets see iv never seen a 125 go over 85k an hour if u geared them down heaps n heaps n heaps ud be able to get 115k an hour but iv never seen a 125 go that fast there geared for acceleration n iv never ridden a 80 or an 85 before but if a 125 only does 85k an hour then a stock 80/85 would not go anywhere near 140k an hour!!!

wot is ur gearing im running 13 front n 52 back on my 02 CR125 n it only gets 85k's but damn it gets there quick n iv got a FMF Fatty Gold series with a FMF Shorty... i bought it second hand plz dont tell me the bike is screwed cause this is my first 125 but iv never seen any of my mates bikes go faster...

My 02 YZ 250 went 140 but it was geard down, i think that it had a 48 tooth sprocket on the back and i don't know about the front. But that was dam qucik

i no that my cousins cr125 does about 100.coz it has a bottom end sprocket. and my otehr cousins 85 was next 2 me and rekd me. Id say the 85 stock 03 does about 110-115 max.
and for the 125's some have 5 and some have 6 all depends on the manafacture and model.

my old 2001 kx250 did 135kmh up against my mates mazda 121 haha, it had a 15 front and 48 back..my kx250 is 14 front and 50 back and it goes 105 against my other mates toyota camry

My KDX200 has gone around about 150k's. But thats only goin on how quick i went past my cuz when he was 5th pinned on his KX250. The higest i got before my speedo broke was 120k's 6th gear 1/4 throttle.

my 04 XR250R road/trail set up with 13 on the front and 39 on the back tops out on flat highway with no head wind at about 155 - 165km/hr in 6th gear... its fact cause i just went out and tested it for the thread, soz no pics though... needed both hands!?! :Z440: so i recon anything with dirt sprokets on it wouldnt get close
