i have just laybyed a giant upland SE it is my first bike and im only a beginner, i was just wondering if i hav made the right choice cause i only had a budget of like $300-$400
and any reviews about it and suitable mods for it would be good

well im not much of a rider...i got a bike..but i cant ride it...but from what ive heard DK's are allright maybe a DK6 pack

i had a look at it, giant's are always good.
what are you planning to do with it? e.g. jumps, or just going to friends places..

ohhh just for like jumps(max 10-11ft) and some drops or somethin and for just rocky terrain

mmmm well its not really built for that but i really really doubt that it will break seing as your pretty young so you dont weigh much and also being a beginner you probably wont be doing 2meter drops. so yeah i reckon it sounds pretty good.
i used to ride a $200 huffy and did so much crap to it and its survived rather nicely other than some buckled rims, but i have a reeeaaall bike now :D

u could maybee pickup a descent second hand mountain bike, or yer a giant wouldnt be to bad.
