I respect what they can do on a bike but i'm not much of a fan. I agree with Sarez... Controversy sells same as s..e..x and the Mulisha boys are showman in much the same way as Marylin Manson. The media etc hype the stories and you can subscribe to their mayhem or you can love to hate them. Regardless of where you choose to stand... they keep things interesting. They push the sport and they continue to help draw people to FMX.

wats wrong with doing well in school? in the event that someone was to pursue a career in fmx, a very dangerous one might i add, and it falling through due to injury etc, where will they turn for their meal ticket if they have been a ******** moty rider all their life and covered in tats trying to fully retrain and become employed in some sort of everyday job?

hey hey wait on a sec here mr labrat this whole idea that it was deegan who start fmx come on give me a break he was and always will be one of the originators or an OG (original gangster) who was there at the start but people who think it was all deegan and link that start it just shit me!
Think about it why is Metz called 'The Godfather of FMX' cause he was there in the begin he was one the guys that help to launch fmx guys like mad mike jones who was doing half time shows at the supercross since god knows when check out all the guys in the original crustys and the movie airstyle which was done back in like 98 99 when FMX was starting now these are the guys that started FMX so i just think in a way it is disrespectful to all these other guys that the some poeple believe the fmx was only started cause of deegan.

Yeah dude I know that it wasn't just Deegan, thats stupid if anyone thinks that. This is a MM thread so I mentioned his name-didn't mean to get into a debate on the origins of the sport.-Could write a 10 page essay on that and it would agree with you. My point was that he was there at the start and has seen it change from what he and the OG's wanted to what it is now. And don't get me wrong the sport and competions are better than ever it's just the politics involved that sucks. The MM are one of a handful of company's who support riders with the image that most other corporate *******s want out of the sport, and you gotta giv them props for that. Thats why I love freestyle, you can be and do what you want and don't have to answer to no one. Anyway I think the MM are the BOMB. They're loyal to their fans, and give alot back to the sport and most of the members are in the greatest show on earth"Crusty's". im all for the mulisha i recon they are promoting freestyle heaps,ask people if they have heard of them and they are like, "are'nt they fmx riders"?maybe they dont know anything about fmx or even much about the mulisha but 2 out of 5 people would have heard of them(with exceptions to the elderly generation) but i see the future of the sport depends on them a bit and by no means saying if the mulisha finishes so will fmx but they are very popular whether people like it or not.

And as for the mulisha being rebels in school, deegs is a very smart buisiness man and marketer so he must of listened somewhat.

Also as for this Deegs hates Pastrana its a bit ironic because pastrana is deegans favourite rider and his daughter has pastrana pajamas so if he hated him i dont think he would say that.And this is where the negative biof the mulisha comes in, if deegan says something or is alledged to say something people seem to go with or follow what he says ie.bla bla bla i hate T.P. bla bla bla and everyone seems to agree.

secondly, people hardly know anything about the mulisha and dress in all the clothes and shit and act "hard" as they think the mulisha does (which to an extent they do) which brings back a negative image if people are cockheads wearing the threads.but by the mulisha acting or portraying the "hard" image it comes back to smart markaeting as Deegan himself said thats what people want to see.

so like it or not, the metal mulisha is doing the sport a whole lot of good but a liitle bit of bad aswell but putting a shit load of money into fmx.
