Getting the poster signed was a good excuse just to meet everyone and hang about, trust me I scored a couple for myseld dont worry.. :) (THANKS NGX :)) hopefully giving one away as well as the subscriptions will encourage a few more to stick around and post.. ;)

this is the biggest part "more active members to be precise..", there is so many ppl joined up with 0 post, then there heaps of ppl that have been joined for about 2 month and they only have 2-3 post

Yeah, i noticed that aswel Dorman, kinda makes ya wonder, if ya have nothing to say, nothing to contribute to this site, what is the point in becoming a member?. I mean, you can pretty much do everything else BUT post reply's if ya arn't a member. I really dont see the point in people waisting their own time in signing up and not becoming an active member of our little slice of FMX Heaven.

Im not quite sure of the way we would go about making people stick around and post away.

It seems they have to love this place, (as many of us do) and keep comming back. Im sure in any Forum there are a great deal of Inactive members. Take The FreestyleMTX.com Forum they have close to 2000 members. But lets face it more than half of that would be people who never post at all or have just joined then left.

good point shifty, it would be kinda hard getting memebers here, like mtx, one town in the u.s has as many people in the whole of australia and also with alex doing all the stuff with xpen Also not many ppl are into fmx, i dunno if its the same where everyone else lives, like there is probley only 5 people at our skool into fmx, onyl 2-3 that realy follow it then try and compare it to skateboarding every 2nd person does it.

Yeah, although FMX is a BIG sport at the moment and gettin a fair bit of air-time and advertisment, the fact remains that it is still growing as a recognised sport. As for skateboarding being more popular, i think it all comes down to price and tallent. The price for a piece of wood with some wheels is EXTREMELY lower than multi thousand dollar machine. And lets face it, it also takes considerable lower tallent to do Skateboarding than it does FMX. (no offence to all the gr8 boarders out there, Tony Hawk my hat goes off 2 you bro, veteran of the sport, yet still top of the crop) So i spose compared to MTX, this site is still VERY new and still has a fair bit of growing up 2 do. It's only about 4 months old compared to years for MTX (i think, I havent actually checked)

Nope, sorry, I wish i had a Digital Cam, then i would snap some off, but even if i did take some with my normal camera, it would take months to finish the film and get em processed. Shirt sleaves: Mungo written around the bottom with your nickname above it, Front pocket has Mungo Racing and Since 1998 writtin under it, and the back has a giant Mungo Symbol with Mungo Industries written under it, then Witness the revolution under that, and finally the website, (even though it's not running yet)

Yup, no one can just buy them, all the ones we have at the moment have been custom made for each member. If I do work out something with Insane it will be a 1 off, with the winner getting the choice of size, colour and what nickname they want on the sleeve. But thats still in the idea stage, nothing is deffinate. It was just a thought i had, cause of the amount of people asking about it.
