1. Nate Adams, Glendale, Ariz. 93.80
2. Travis Pastrana, Annapolis, Md. 89.60(pastrana blew a tire fixed his bike and then stacked again and still got second?)
3. Adam Jones, Warrendale, Pa. 89.20

8. Bryan Dowdy, Trabuco Canyon, Calif. 86.00
9. Brian Deegan, Temecula, Calif. 85.40
10. Matt Buyten, Carson City, Nev. 84.00
personally i recon this sucks major balls!!!
but this is what travis said in an interview befor the prelims
At the moment, we have one super kicker at 50 and one at 45. Basically, if I need the double backflip, I'm confident that I could land it. The big deterrent is that if I don't land it, it's not going to be pretty. Alpinestars has hooked me up with a lot of gear and a lot of pads. There's a chance you could mess it up and not get hurt, but that's probably pretty small. I'm almost more concerned about over-rotation than I am about under-rotation. I'm going to rotate as hard as I can because under-rotation is like death.
(Travis' mom puts her hand on her forehead and moves toward the door. "I'm leaving. I don't think I can listed to this anymore!" She says she never even saw the video of him trying the double into the foam pit until Thursday night.)
The double backflip is obviously weighing heavily on your mind.
Every time I think about it, my palms start sweating. I try not to think about it. If you think of what can go wrong, it's a really bad trick. But think of how many times I've done it over and over, perfectly into the foam pit and the chances of it going right are good. It's a matter of weighing out the options. If I was thinking, I would have done it at home into a mulch pile, but it just didn't seem worth it.
How are you going to know what to do?
It's a two-run format. If I have the lead after my first run, to say I'm going to do a double flip, I don't know. If I don't have the lead, which, with Nate Adams here, that's very possible and I may need it. Think of the first time Carey did the flip. He went upside down with a 220-pound motorcycle. And he just winged it
sorry for makin this a pretty long post but i just thought i'd let ya's all no.
