NIGHT of the JUMPS series kicks off in Vienna, Austria on the 15th and 16th of March 2003!
The NIGHT of the JUMPs series will be premiering in Vienna, Austria on the 15th and 16th of March 2003 with 12 of the best international riders attending to fight it out over 40.000,- Euro in prize winnings distributed in the disciplines Highest AIR, Best Whip, and the main contest, "best run".
The most successful FMX event series in Europe is expanding for the first time in 2003 and will be hosted in Austria in one of Vienna's biggest arenas.
The NIGHT of the JUMPs series is kicking off at the traditional location in Riesa, Germany on the 22nd of February. Many of the riders participating in the first event will also be rocking Vienna to help secure further IFMXF world ranking points.
Marko Manthey, head of organization from the Berlin based Agency AIR-TEAM: "For 2003 we have again secured only the best international riders that the world has to offer. Since the sport is still in a dynamic upswing, we will probably again see unknown riders make a name for themselves in the NIGHT of the JUMPS series as seen through the lead of Australian Dayne Kinnaird last year or England's Kris Brock. Both riders premiered in continental Europe at the NIGHT of the JUMPs and have grown into international stars in the FMX universe since then. The NIGHT of the JUMPs series takes pride in showcasing up and coming riders. This year will see a first time integration of some South African riders into the series as well as a local hero from Austria."
As usual pyrotechnics and an exhibition will help round off the event along with the opening show and aftershow party. The doors open at 18:00 hrs. and the show starts at 20:00 hrs. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased under the following ticket hotline.
