hey all, this is my mates vs commodore, not quite finished yet but should be hittin the show scene in a few months, getting a new motor soon, ATM just stock 5 litre with exhaust, nice car, hope you like!!

Props go to my partner in crime Stevey S for the conversion :). Personal opinion, so please, dont take offence as the owner obviously loves it,and that's all that matters, but that, is probably the single most ugliest lookin' car I've ever seen. :spew: Certainly original though, so that gets 10 stars for effort :). How'd he get the mags done? airbrushed?

yeah mate airbrushed all the way, the car used to be white and the mags where done in lightning about 2 years ago, when the car was still white, theyve held up pretty well thanks to a few phat coats of clear, lol. then one day he's like, hrm i might do the whole car lightning, im like f**k no dude. when i first saw it i hated it, but its grown on me. you should see the thing a night, cops dont know whether to stare at it or pull him over, lol. he like the attention, chicks love it to cos they can see theyre reflection i think.

Yeah, with something like that, that's so bold, people will either have 3 reactions to it. 1), they'll hate it, 2), they'll love it, or 3, they'll hate it and then it'll grow on them lol.
I'd also imagine it would look a lot better in real life, as pics usually dont do "show" cars/bikes/whatever, any justice. I'm not too sure why i dont like it, it's either way too overdone, or it's just cause the lightening just looks like the whole cars a shattered mirror :p.

yeah i reckon the rims airbrushed are a bit over done wack some big cromies or VYSS 18's on there then she will look tuff. Check out me mates VS Statesman thats for sale, its on "The sale Yard" forum.

Oh an i never seen a show car over done thats the point of em there ment to stand out in a crowd!

hey guys thanks for the comments, good and bad. that bit about the Hot Wheels car was soo funny!! my mate's tried some crome 19's on it cos we got mates a Bob Janes, they looked shit, he's tryin to get some genuine vx gts 19's for it, theyle look trick. he's also not sure wether to bomb up the 5 litre in it or try and slot an LS1 in. i say go with the LS1 and a 6 speed. the owner and the guy who painted/airbrushed it had a big fall out and the painter wants to poor stripper over the whole car, lol. we'll see wot happens, i'd be punchin on if anyone did that to my car!!!

man thats an awesome paint job its sick, but the problem might be to much lightning its still heaps sick in my opinion but obviously some people dont like it
