i was going to the motocross at appin for round 8 (i think) of the mr motocross and that is when the rain came through!

i didnt go and instead i had to stop my backyard from flooding!!!

Yeeeea...that's why it was voted as one of the best tracks in Australia or NSW in 2003. That also must be why they decided to run the Australian Motocross Titles at Appin...because its s h i t !! haha yea right...Appin's one of the greatest tracks you could get to train and race on...you only think its s h i t because it tests your ability.

I was reading a interview with a Pro and he said Appin is one of the most hardest tracks of the whole series, it is only shit when they wet it heaps otherwise its good, its rutty yeah but no track is meant 2 be smooth, if it was meant to be smooth itd just be like road racing!

Its not exactly the fact that they dont look after it, it is because of the amount of people that go there, and they wet the track to make everyone happy so there isnt dust everywhere but then people complain that its rutty, what are they going to do, go out half way through the day to fix all the ruts just to make people happy, it is because so many people go and tear it up.

lol i dont need 2 ride appin for about 9-10 years because im a racer and i travel 2 plenty more other tracks in this country...n ill never come back n say the tracks s h i t because its not...its a motocross track....its a natural thing for it to get rutty, dusty, muddy, what ever!! n im a chick thanx...ne way ive had enough time wasted on this topic lol...catchaz!! ;)

oh k for one the track is owned by people who have joined the club and the owner of appin and etc is really sitting on a land mine so really he is making money thats one. secondly i dun see why people say its shit if its shit simply dont go there glover is saying they dont mantain it n shit then why do u go there?thats 2. thirdly all this crap about it having put holes and shit its part of the game its not supposed to be easy n boring it should be fun and a shit like that yeah appins a sick track, i wouldn't really say it would be the hardest though. i really enjoy riding there top track.

yer appin can b pretty crap on practice days. though the track is sooooo nice on race day. y bother practicing on nice loamy smooth dirt. how would that improve ur riding ability for race day wen it gets all choppy. meh.. i lyk it peace!!

i go out to appin every now and then it is pritty good if u go early the track is still muddy in some places but if u go late i gets dusty, your choise. it gets bumpy but thats good for arm pump it realy tests your fitness thats what i like about appin

ive got nothing against appin
i go there pretty often and it has improved my riding skills alot, because the track is always in a different condition i go there, i never know what to expect... let people have there say about appin, because it is there personal opinion and its what they think about it

yeah appin has its good days and its bad( mostly bad)
as ridley said the track is so good wen racing comes around everything is perfect. if i had my choice though i would want them to change back to the old track( no not the opposite way around!) the old track that was there! like back in 99' if anyone can remeber. it was such a good track!

yeah wondering if anyone was out there on sat or sunday dis weekend may 7th and 8th hahaha thats the time u should be nagging lol it was choppy everywhere lips where mangled except for the main cauz no one jump that n was buckled cauzed alot of arm pump and was really slipperyt but a very good practice day.

hey, was out there on tuesday and they had done some work to the track, (all the upramps and they smoothed out some holes and bits of the track) still rough but alot better than a week ago.
