Yeah, I dont much like the overall look of the machine, but if it's specifically designed for FMX and allows more inovative and extreme tricks, than I'm all 4 it. Maybe with some trick graphics and some FMXAustralia.com stickers it would look more attractive. :D

Extract from the "Is This the future" article.
The aim of this project was to design a light-weight, highly-manoeuvrable bike that allows riders to jump further, higher and bust bigger tricks than previously achievable on standard MX bikes. It's a cross between an MX bike, a trials bike and a dirt jumping BMX.

I think the way it's lookin at the moment, you can deffinatly see the "Trials Bike" look about it, which isn't really a good look for FMX :eek:

Hmmm i agree about the whole not liking the trails bike look, i just reckon the bike looks like a horse, not good.

No Worries man, I seen the pic you were tryin to show us, and i had the mag, and a scanner and i thought it would be something everyone would have an oppinion on, so i thought, fark it, I got nuthin better to do. :D Looks to be a very contriversial topic anyways. I think this design is a good sign of things to come. like i imagine this is in its initial stages so the guy who's designin it will figure stuff out and whatever in time i imagine.. but hey, the bike already looks like a grey version of luke ureks bike or something... if they bring out a nice paint job and a sticker kit wats teh difference??

but the bike isonly a prototype so after theyve got that done and they know how they can go about doing it they could pretty much make it look like a normal fmx bike eg. urek/ daynes/ anyones
or just change it slightly to look like a normal mx bike

yeh i reckon it looks shit as they should take a normal 250 mxer and do the mods that they do now but make it a bit lighter and put the fuel tank in the middle then sell the bikes like that but the unit bike is shit the handle bars look like something the brady bunch would use and it does sound kinda gay sayin i own a unit fmx bike cant they think of a better name than UNIT

i dont see them selling many cause seriously a lot of people that have to actually pay full price for their bikes are gunna wanna use their bikes for mx/sx/fmx/trailriding, so far mx bikes cover all these areas pretty damn well so who'd fork out money for an fmx specific bike when you truly can't "FREERIDE" on it ??

Yeah, i think if they did actually Mass produce that bike in the future, that really only the FMX pro's would buy them, cause well FMX is their job. And lets face it, the way bike costs are goin, probably only the pros would be able to afford it. but as usual, time will tell.

Well it is a Unit Bike.. And thay are from Australia ... And the best place for them to get Ideas Is a Place like this...

So the real riders ( that ride every day or every 2nd day..) would Put some ideas on what thay Like to have on there bike.. and by the looks of this Unit bike.. it has a Lot to Sort out.. But if it was like.. Sorted Out.. Well I Think it would Be SWEET to ..have a bike to Push it ( FMX ) Further... :)

So really this was to Sneek Ideas in ,, to the Production of the Bike.. would that be cool ? I think it would... shit give me one to ride..and test.. Im shaw you would like one.. :)

So Let the Ideas Flow again .. :D like I wanted a Proper Gyro .. type head set.. but there is a lot more to what I mean by that.. cheers.

yeah, gyro would be great. but it needs more research into them for strength.

adding a gyro into fmx is making them turn out to be a bmx bike.
