75ft on 2stroke

hey i have just built my first aussie comp ramp and would like to no what gear to hit it for a 75ft gap i ride a yz250.
i been hitting a comp ramp at 40ft in 2nd but my mates say na hit it in 3rd so there got me f*&ked on gears now

Hey joey what gearing you running or a better question what gearing would you recon to run on a YZ 250 as in a 14 front etc.?? cheers mitch

I hit my ramp in 3rd to 4th gear. But my bikes geared up im not sure how much i'd have to go check. My ramp is sitting at 80feet right now but normally is a 70foot gap. So try third mid rev. Second seems too slow. coming up short sucks.
