Very easy job Jez,you have to remove the side cover to get to them, once youve done that you have to undo the 6 or 8 bolts(not sure on that model)remove the bolts, clutch springs and cover, you should be able to see plates at this point!there will be 2 different types of plates in there(friction plates and possibly alloy plates, you can use after market steel plates if available which are alot more durable.you will be able to visually see if friction or alloy or both plates are worn,if you pull it apart lay all parts on bench in order of removal just reverse what you done and you can't go wrong!!hopefully that helps sort out your clutch issue..........if you have any other questions ill try my best to answer them mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you have enough slack in the clutch cable because if theres to much tension on it the clutch will slip you want approx 3mm play in the lever and secondly buy your self a workshop manual from honda that will tell you the procedure and cost wise your looking at around 160 for a kit when installing the new clutch plates make sure you soak the fiber plates in oil for a good 15mins

depends if u just need fibers or steels I would say just fibers and get your steels sand blasted can do it yourself just buy a cheap sand blaster from trade tools if u got a compressor how old is that cable could be streched Cr s are bad on clutches but check your basket for wear too

cable could be stretched cause there is not much adjustment there,
but will check it all i guess.!!
