pro taper or TAG ??

Hey people im goin down to the bike shop ina few days to get new hangers what seems to be the best or most reliable out of protaper fat bars or TAG 2's
im currently running magura X Line bluge bars and there pritty crap

pro tapers arent that strong i snapped mine in half on my 3rd ride im getting tag t2 yz bend

it depends how u crash and how the bike lands.

some people say pro taper are strong and others say they are weak. but i see more ppl saying they are strong and less that say they are weak.

well i highsided on a jump and it snapped the bar posts instead of bending the pro tapers, so there pretty strong

got new pro tapers yester, and the clamps and bar pad.
looks awesome.
has a much better and higher bend then my old bars.
havent tried it out.
and from what the guy told me at the bike shop, if their going to break their going to break.

im looking at some protapers, and the kit is gonna cost around 250 for the bars, pad and mounting kit.. does this sound right?

250 is pretty cheap. I bent my pro tapers yesterday into a u shape, unfortunately cant remember the crash so dont know if it took much force or not but I will definately go pro taper again.

at my local shop u can pick up a set of tapers for $160 and clamps for $65........ i think thats sick! and bar pad for like 30

wtf, around here u get the pad with the bars in the box together for $190. then the clamps are like 50-60
