Oh and another thing, that black box thingy next to his air filter is his CDI ignition, he was saying he had to move it cause it was mounted where the removed plastic should be.

if a motorbuike is a motorbike then why does he bother to maKE his front fender about 4 inches long ... its a bit of a pose.... and the seat surely doesnt need to be that than thin all over.... i reckon kinnairds or jp's are the sickest aussie bikes and you cant argue with that ... they are factory backed so their bikes have all the works parts no one else can get . and still look good .

Yeah Dayne's bikes look the best out of everyones i reckon, although the bike pictured here isnt his Australian bike, this one is pretty much the same, beautiful looking machine.

the reason i reckon daynes bikes are good isn't for the way they look though .... they are pretty trick as he is factory backed and has access to bits and pieces we only dream of .... urek's bike is pretty stock in terms of suspension and engine stuff.... still a damn nice bike though dont get me wrong!

yeah i've got it .... whats so trick about it?? a few aftermarket parts that any joe can walk down to his local dealer and buy added with some chopped up plastics and tweaked the whole package to personal preference.... sure his bike is modified to suit freestyle needs and is pretty cool but its far from the exotica you see on factory race bikes etc.....

but if anyone had a new bike and a few thousand spare dollars they could buy the parts and make an exact replica of ureks bike... unlike any factory backed ride where they have access to parts that none of us coiuld dream of buying ... it isn't about the big name bolt on accesories either... its about all the little things that people like us don't see or know about!

Well i believe that Bikes all come down to personal taste. Some people like big flashy graphix kits, some like em coated in stickers and some like em plain as the day they bought em. As for all those little trick bits and pieces, sure they're expensive and top of the range, but really, if it works, if it doesn't brake, and it still looks trick to the owner, than who really cares. There's people out there like Sturto that have basically minimum sponsorship and 100% stocko parts on his new KTM that can throw down just as good if not better than some of the others with all the flashy gear (I'm not specifically talkin about Jono or Dayne or urek here, just in general) and thats just my 2 cents :)

Jono's bike has definately got engine work done i reckon, maybe some work done to the head and stuff? Anyway about the whole trick bikes things, its how you ride your bike, not stand next to it, a great looking bike doesnt make the rider.

agrred totally about the rider not the bike thing ... hey i was never saying ureks bike isn't sick! it is more than anything i'd dream of but i just reckon there are "tricker" not necessarily better bike out there! .... fmx bikes are all about taste ... as long as you've got enough power to clear the gap and good enough suspension to land smoothly the rest is personal taste... its not like you've gotta beat 30 other guys for the holeshot in fmx.
