Yes, a water dispersant of any kind (WD-40) will make your plastics shine like a bald mans head. :p
It's also great for removing oil based stains.

Wash your bike down, get a scrubber and get all the dirt and whatever else off. Then dry it off really good and get some WD 40 and use that to clean them up really nice and get all the stains off. Use it on the frame etc. When your bike is warm after riding and before washing put carb cleaner all over your engine too then do the WD40 thing. After the WD go get some armerall (sp) the stuff that makes your tires shine nice and pretty on a vehicle lol and put it all on your plastics, etc. Do not put it on your seat or else the next time you ride you will fly off the back and slide all over the place.

use a truck wash to wash ya bike, like umm CT18 or something like that, but dont leave it on ya plastics for too long as its achole based and will eat through ya plastics, its also got like an inbuilt degreaser too.
Oh and use cut and polish on ya plastics gets dirt out scratches and shines it up like new.
Yeah and GO NUTS with WD-40, its great!!!

Ah, she's a brand spankin new bike man, unless you've crashed it ten times over and scratched up the plastics somethin fierce, a wash over with water and detergent should get it as shiny as it's gunna get.

dont use amour all or whateva to much becuase it dries out the plastics unless u keep using it over and over again
ID say take it to a chrome plaza and get it dipped in chrome then the biatch will sparkle

use the real stuff, silicon spray. works great. wd-40 on ur plastics before u ride makes ur bike even more dirty is it's dusty as it all sticks but if it's muddy then spray it on just before u ride.

To easily remove mud and stuff, spray your bike with cooking spray before you ride...
To Keep plastics lookin mad, buy a can of "plexus" or this other stuff called 100% Motorcycle Shine. If your bikes got a chrome pipe clean it with metho that makes chrome look sick..
And yeah.. either CT-18 or CT-20 Truckwash..
