Xfighters Egypt Fuel TV LIVE 4:00am Australian Eastern std time

Hey guys,

Just letting everyone know, as the title says, Fuel TV on foxtel has the Xfighters event live from 4:00am east coast Australian time but it is also replayed at a few times after that on the same channel throughout the day.

My opinion on this event is all show and no go...

sick as backdrop, but 3 ramps...?? after seeing what the red bull x fighters management are capable of putting on, i thought it was a big disappointment. Theres fmx on tv every 5mins these days (which i'm not complaining about), so i would of thought an x fighters event, regardless of where, would ALWAYS be a show of large proportions...

and what the &%*$ was with the format in the semi final? Nate Adams and Adam Jones spent so much F&$&ing time show boating and 'getting the crowd going' that they only pulled like 4-5 jumps each??? GAY.

fist pumps and arm waving gets lame after about 30 seconds... they take the whole 'show/crowd reaction' category too far...

anyway... anyone else wanna comment?

I watched the 8:00 replay. It was a decent show. I found the lighting seemed poor at the event. Might be good when your there live but for the cameras it seemed to dark. Which kind of sucked because it was held is such a amazing site. Would have been nice for the area to be larger. But maybe thats all they were allowed to use.

Yeah i think Nate adams and Jones lost track of the time. I pretty sure they said it was new so i guess it happens. As you could see with the maddo run they didn't wastes to much time.

On the live show they talked with Nate Adams and he was pissed because no one told him and Adam Jones there was a time limit, just 8 jumps. I think the judging system is just as bad as it used to be but for new reasons, the judges have put way to much on getting the crowd going to the point you could see every rider having to showboat and i thought it looked stupid.

Everyone rode awesome tho i really liked Adam Jones and Maddos runs Maddo was bringing out some old school whipped out heel clickers that i remember him doing back in the SELl expression sessions.

Totally agree with the last 3 comments. I was pretty board watching this? Felt the judging was poor and bias. Defiantly don't agree with the showboating. I know the scenery was awesome and would of been hard to organise but it was disappointing especially for a Red Bull event, it looked more like a local demo.
