I'm looking at getting a GoPro Hero Wide camera before the Anzac day long weekend, can anyone suggest a place around Brisbane that sells them cheap??
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Click the banner at the top of the page and get it from sportscamera.com.au, if in stock you'll have it at your door in 2 days, I did... Support the companies supporting the site ;)

Are you guys using the hero wide or the HD version? I thought they could only hold up to a 4gb SD card?

Thanks mate, I'm not looking at spending $400+ so I think I will have to settle with the wide version. Still decent quality I'm hoping? Anyone got any of their own videos I can see taken with the hero wide?

Man, trust me I only use mine in 720p resolution but even then the files are way to big to be uploading to youtube so I convert it down more anyway.. The non HD one will be fine for taking and making fun vids for youtube / web / your pc..

I also have a Tachyon XC Mini that Tachyon sent me (thanks sportcamera.com.au & Tachyon ;)) and if money is a issue, it is 99% as good as a normal Go Pro, its not HD but is fully waterproof ect. The Go Pro has a few more mounting options but I reckon but the Tachyon XC isnt to bad for $199...

That one does look pretty decent for $199, but I do need a few mounting options because it will be getting used for motorbikes/cars aswell as jetskiis. Thanks again for the help, about to go pick it up now :)

We are currently manufacturing an adaptor bracket for the Tachyon XC Micro which will allow you to use it with any of the GoPro mounts. Hope this bracket is not too far away!

I Bought a bulletHD for $199 and have sold it off for a contourHD ($299) , as the controls were hard to use with gloves , and no software supplied to edit the video. You can up load your video to contour.com in full HD and share with your mates , no one else does that
