This is a video of the late Dan Osman who was a famous climber from the early 90s, after growing bored of climbing he invented the sport of rope jumping, and holds the guiness world record for the biggest rope jump of about 330m i think. Anyway i thought i would share it.

One of the most amazing videos ive ever seen, haha made me a bit breathless in parts.

He allso holds a record for climbing a 400ft vetical cliff in 4 minutes, with no rope!!!

I cant actually watch this video at work (BLOCKED) but i think i may have seen it. is this the one where the fellow is all rigged up and jumps of this mountain but the rope breaks and his calculations are wrong and he actually dies in the video? if so ive seen it and its crazy youd never catch me trusting some peice of rope,id rather trust a 90 kg peice of metal machine that goes braaaaaap. :)

it is the same dude but there is no footage recorded of his death jump wich was a week after he broke the world record and a lot of the footage was taken. He ended up in jail soon after for various things and when he was bailed out his family convinced him to stop, but when he went back to retreive his gear (on his own with no cameras) he went for one last jump. Unfortunately the rope didnt hold up, some people think it was bad weather whislt he was in jail wich weakened them

it May not be that same fellow but ive actually seen a video where you see the jump they dont show this dudes body but they show some writing saying he died during the jump or whatever and u can see it happen.
