The FmxAustralia Facebook App allows guests and existing users to login with and link their Facebook account with their FmxAustralia acount. It also allows user interaction between the 2 sites.. Check it out, its pretty cool :)

**New users can simply login with their Facebook account without going through the registration process.

** Exsisting users go to your FmxAustralia User CP down the very bottom left there is Facebook bridge options.

** Get FmxAustralia.Com PM and new reply notifications via facebook.

Click options or click here (http://www.fmxaustralia.com/forum/profile.php?do=fbb).

Click connect the with facebook and follow the prompts. If you are not logged in to facebook you will be asked for your facebook details. Note: We dont see your facebook login details, thats all handled by facebook.

Click Connect. Click save details once you see your facebook info... Click on the link account button...


All done... You will notice all sorts of options and new things to tie your facebook and FmxAustralia accounts.. Have a play around and please let me know if its all working.

P.S.
If you want a small box in your FmxAustralia Public profile that displays your last facebook posts click the red not permitted button next to read stream.

Facebook users will be able to receive optional Facebook notifications when:

There is a reply to their thread or a thread that they're subscribing to
They receive a new PM
Optional News-Feed will be published on to the user's wall when the user:

Logs in for the first time
Replies to a thread
Creates a new thread
Optional FmxAustralia App box on your Facebook profile.
Optional Latest Facebook posts box in your FmxAustralia public profile.
Lots lots more...

Automatically befriend user's friends
If any of your facebook friends are also registered on the forum, they will automatically be FmxAustralia friends!

P.S. FmxAustralia doesn't see any of your facebook login details, that is all handled by Facebooks whizz bang servers...

1. Loaded with long list of optional actions/notifications: posting thread, posting reply, rating thread, sending pm, sending visitor message, uploading image (avatar/profile picture), uploading pictures, comment on pictures.

2. Ability to quick register with Facebook credentials. Facebook proxied email addresses are handled completely and vBulletin can send email without any problems (of course, the member must grant the Email extend permission).

3. Ability to auto login with Facebook session.

4. Other abilities: Display a profile block on vBulletin member page. Display a wall tab/box on Facebook profile page. Synchronize avatar from Facebook.

It should be underneath every login box, except the one on the main portal page, I am having a few issues getting it going on main portal...

Ok, if exsisting users go to your FmxAustralia User CP down the very bottom left there is Facebook bridge options. Click options. Click connect with facebook and follow the prompts.

Cool, glad it all works for ya...

I just set it up so it sends me a notification on facebook that you replied to my thread.. Everything seems to be working though so I hope more people have a play around cause it can do some pretty cool stuff!!

They aren't problems, just notifications...

The first one you tried to turn on display posts from friends however its telling you that you need to turn on Facebook block in member info first...

The second one where you tried to turn on Facebook block in member info it is simply telling you it cant be turned on because you have read stream permission turned off...

Turn read stream ON
Turn Facebook block on member page to ON
Turn Display friends post to ON

Without the stream permission the block has no information to get.. If you want all those things on, do it in the order I just posted above and you should have no issues...
Hope that makes sense..
