hey people. Well, this happened last decemebr, but i just discovered this forum lol.
The day was preety sweet, as there were rumours the world number 2 and number 6 flatland riders were going to show, and they did. #2.. micheal steingrabber actually sat in my chair!!! lmao. during the actual amature comp, none of us could land anything, we were so nervous, and considering we had the world number 2, matt holmes (owner and head dude of 2020bmx magazine ) and mike daily (best street rider in australia!.. besides colin mccay lol.) i think we had good reasons to be nervous.
Me on my one of a kind huffy with no pedals recieved luaghs from steingrabber.. little did he know i was going to use it in the comp lol.
and anyway, the results went like this:
Cherrybrook amature flatland comp 2002 sponsered by Dragonfly bikes and Etnies shoes:
3rd place: Jeremy williaims
2nd place: Tibby kiss
1st place: Mitch brown
HAHAHAHA! damn them all! they made fun of me and my yellow contraption and we won1 lol. I scored a set of mike Steingrabber bars worth about $170+, a dragonfly shirt, Etnies trucker hat, and shiitt loads of Redbull energy drink and stickers.
