hay guys well to day i got to use a foampit it was so good that im thinking about building 1 for 50s and bike what is a good size but not to big ive only got an akor (i dont no how to spell) thanks

It's acre lol I reckon about 6m long by 4m wide n about 2m deep is the maximim you'll need for bmx n 50s! Sound good to you???

Yeah I reckon that'll do! And you want like 15cm cubes blocks ish in my opinion but other people may say different! I'm just guaging off what I've seen

ok at the 1 i went to the fome was in big blocks and you didnt sink lol
.i might make it so the 4 sides bolt togeather so i can pack it away

the bigger u can make it the better, my mates got one bout 4 or 5 by 3 and iv landed on the wall a few times tryin 360's haha, even if you build it bigger but dont fill it full, ie pile in the middle and shape down to the sides so u got a bit if you go wrong still, also a handy tip is to get some tyres to fill up some hieght and put mesh or something to stop foam packing down in the tyres, i think we did 2 layers of them and a bit more in the corners. and it would be alot easier if you could built a roof on it even if its just some tarp, that way itl stop the sun rotting your foam and there would be a shit load to move when it rains, even for a small pit.

yer true it would b hard to pack up but i will just tell my parents that it will b easy lol .how mutch foam will i need

Yeah don't even consider packin it up that'll take forever lol u want to make like a waterproof frame outa marine ply them all u need is a tarp on top! That'll do! But yeah thinkin aboutbthe block size I said was tiny lol more like atleast 30cmcubed blocks along with bigger bits to down the bottom,

hahaha, you'll think its easy til you see how much foam you end up putting in it haha, how are ya gettin the foam? cause if its free, there'll never be too much. but you'll need a fair bit of it. as for the frame my mate just made his out of 6 posts with cattle rails on the top, then wire mesh for the sides with builders plastic to stop the water coming in from sides and below. its also handy if you can build the front wall to fold down that way any ramp can hit it
