hey i got a kx125 97 model and its pissin out oil from somewhere behind where the fat part of the pipe is on the right... when i take the pipe off, theres a plastic cover with a rubber sleeve thing on the bottom and when i take off the cover, theres a little round spindle thing stickin out of the side of the motor with a little black thingy attatched... i dunno wtf it could be... help plese sorry bout the s**t explanation. thats where the oil seems to be comin from anyway...

he means the front pipe,i think.and i think its the muffler seal,is it at the head?

its comin out of the actual side of the head of the motor... the side where the fattest part of the whole exhaust is.. where it curls around under your leg.. oil is comin out of the motor somewhere... f@*k it ill just post a photo when i get the digital camera from work...

some one told me it might be the power valve or some shit, but i dont know where or wat that is, sorry, not THAT good with bikes.. i understand the basics...bout it...

yeh, im getting a bit confused. so is it the exhaust ???
sounds like its not, replace the cylinder base gasket and head gasket.

yeah, it does sound like your powervalve.
what are you premix fuel/oil ratio are you running, and with what oil?

i use motul 800 stuff and its at 40:1 which it has always been running at (i think) and it seems to be fine, would it be leaking due to a seal/gasket or due to oil type/amount though?... ive used various differnt types of oils and its always leaked... my bike is really really due for a full rebuild i think

sorry to say but i herd and that 97 kx125 r the worst 125 kawasaki bought out and iv seen a couple that r always fu**n up and they soon got rid of em and they like to blow up and seize alot
