um i dont think any pros ride four strokes(in competition) that i no of but i know some of em ride and jump bangers. theres two guys on here that are f*ckin sick bluehaze is one i think hes got a 250f theres heaps of pics around the site.

Yeh i know Ben Jones Rides a four stroke... what bike does he ride now? coz didn't the whole showtime international team go yamaha?

Yea dude that 450 was mine but I sold it to get a cr 250... great bike but still a bit heavy, I wouldnt race anything else but the 450 best overall motor and excellent suspension... especially after pro tech got it dialed in... but I think untill they get the weight down a bit the 250 is a better jump bike.

I also find it a bit easier to be more accurate with the 250. The 450 has such broad power that one small blip of the throttle can make a huge difference. With the 250 I know that at 1/2 throttle I can come at my ramp and give it a shot at the base, and jump 70 feet... with the 450 its easier to overjump, cause if you give it a bit too much at the base, you are into orbit !

Another example is a step up I do at our local practice track. I can hit it in 2nd , 3rd or 4th on the 450 and make it clean... but on the 250 I can only do it in 3rd... 2nd isnt enough, its reving to the moon, and 4th bogs too bad ?

The 450 still flys pretty good though and its fun to whip !

Yea dude, i find the cr 250 a better jump bike, but for racing the 450 is a superior machine !

The 250's will eventually go the way of the 125's (replaced by 250f's)... the 4 bangers are going to take over.

maybe lol i still havent seen anyone in pro comps ridin a four banger, things like the x games, pro devision of x rated, the last planet x, and tonight at crustys i doubt deegs is gonna come out and mulisha twist his crf450 lol, but by some of the photos ive seen on here it of andy and matt, you never know, i seriously hope that two strokes never go!! lol,

deegs still rides his cr 250 but has a crf 450,and luke wont compete(i doubt)with his yzf and same with deegs.

Well i must admit 2 strokes feel better for me when i jump ramps but 4 strokes are the best race bike ever
