ps. i'm not saying anything and i only saw a bit of it on u tube and he looked good on that n with the double flip i don't understand how he lost the match up against mat.

We see this time and time again at comps.
My most disappointing judging moment was when twitch beat Maddo at X; even though maddo got in one more jump and did one more flip trick than Twitch.... If the stats alone say that Maddo won - how the hell did Twitch get up?????
I would hate to be a judge and never argue my own results, But every now and then I have seen a rider get obviously ripped off.
I haven't seen Matts run up against Sincs, But Sincs looked to have put in a solid run with the double Flip, indy flip, etc...... So Matts must have been glowing to get up... unless they have a limit to the amount of flip tricks they like to see in a run (many comps have that now)... Because Sincs run was mostly flips. --- Still a mad dawg but...... ha ha
Stuff being a judge and thanks to all those who do....

Since landing back in Southern California after judging the Red Bull in Texas, I have been bombarded with questions about the event. So, I decided to take this time to fill you in on the highly debated Mat Rebeaud vs. Cam Sinclair match-up that saw Rebeaud win over Sinclair in Texas. I know, I know Sinc's is the baddest dude around right now — believe me I KNOW! Pulling a double backflip in qualifying, at nearly 1 AM with nobody in the stands and then twice again in competition the following night, means the guy perfectly executed three double backflip's in less than 24 hours. So, how did Matt Rebeaud's run oust Sincs' when the two faced off head-to-head?
Well, let me start by telling you that my heart was absolutely pounding every time he took to the course and I'm sure his was as well. There were five judges in Texas and I'm only speaking for myself, so here it goes. When Cam took to the course for his second run, he went up against one of the hottest riders in the game right now, Mat Rebeaud. Rebeaud put together a very solid run in which nearly all his tricks were executed nearly flawlessly. Cam, in my eyes, had other things on his mind (the double backflip) and I could see it reflected in his riding. Rightfully so, I mean who wouldn't have that parched squarely in their mind when they know it's coming?
When judging a 90 second run, you have to look at the entire 90 seconds and not just that last jump. Am I trying to take anything away from what Sinclair did? Absolutely not! Do I think he's the man? Absolutely! But, when I fully dissected both runs from top to bottom, I had to give the nod to Rebeaud. His entire run was just better executed than Sincs' in my eyes. Sinclair's final jump, a mind boggling double just couldn't make up the difference of the rest of his run.
My heart was with Sinclair, and in all honesty, I think he's going to be a serious force to be reckoned with in contests to come. Now that he got the double backflip out of the way, he can focus on nailing the entire course, getting more jumps in and executing his other tricks a little better. Maybe he can pull the double in the beginning-to-middle part of his run and get it out of the way, so he can then focus on the other aspects of his run. Sometimes being a judge is the hardest thing in the world, and trust me, after Sinclair and Rebeaud went head to head, I seriously wished I was the one sitting in the stands awaiting the judges decision.

guess it's jst kind of annoying as sincs deserves more credit then he gets n he's doing something nobody else is doin or done. n as riders seem to learn trick so fast that in a little while other riders could be doing it. but sincs is definately no one trick pony n will show the world what he's been showing australia for years.
