Friday Night Recap

Philly was good to Kenny Bartram again. He won the X- Games here a couple of years ago in Big Air, and his entire run tonight was big air. I liked his miracle whip no-hander. It was a step up from one that Jeff Tilton pulled in his run. Kenny just looked like Kenny tonight, no problems. Jake Windham had his best finish of 2003 with a second tonight. His run went pretty smooth for the final after qualifying 5th. The Tomcat finished third after his 7th qualifying spot. His run was up there, and it was good to see him have a good final for a change. Dustin Miller was 4th even though he had a sailor 2 tricks from the end. That is how good his run was going. Notice I said was. Ronnie Renner was fifth after having a hard time with the Philly dirt. The night ended like this:
1st Kenny Bartram - 93.0
2nd Jake Windham - 91.4
3rd Tommy Clowers - 91.0
4th Dustin Miller - 90.7
5th Ronnie Renner - 90.0
6th Brian Foster - 89.8
7th Matt Buyten - 89.5
8th Derek Burlew - 87.8
9th Tilt
10th Milot
11th Wyatt
12th Leyba
13th Connet
Saturday Recap
It's Miller Time
Dustin Miller stops Cowboy Kenny's streak of victories tonight in Philly. He was the top qualifier and performed in the main as well. Kenny had to qualify through the semi because of a fall in his heat and sat on the hot seat for a while. He ended his run with a sterilizer, but I think it was too late. That opened the door for Dustin and he didn't disappoint. Jake Windham finished third tonight with a very good run and excellent execution. Derek Burlew finished 4th after a run that he was happy with.

Last night he couldn't get things going in the final, but that was not the case tonight. He had about 50 friends in the stands cheering him on, besides the locals that wanted to see him on top. Tommy Clowers was the last qualifier and sat on the hot seat for a little while eventually ending his night in 5th. Ronnie Renner just didn't have his mojo going tonight and finished a tenth of a point ahead of eighth place rider, Brian Foster. The remaining non-qualifiers finished Connet, Tilton, Buyten, Milot, Wyatt, and Leyba. That's it for "Fast Feets" Robbie Floyd. Good luck Adam next week and Lurchy keep it real. You can see me on NBC covering freestyle skiing until Denver. Now if I can get past all of these CRAZY Eagles fans in the parking lot, I'll feel a lot better.
