How do i convince my dad....

lol i thought this would be a funny question
im 14 from northern ireland and love fmx
my dad built me some jumps
but after a while they got really lame
the only hard(ish) trick i can pull is a saran wrap
cus the jumps are so small

my dads arguement is that they're big enough and any bigger will cause me to kill myself and that he does not want to be responsilble for my death

my retort of "are you gay" does not help matters

so how can i convince him otherwise :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

well guys i'm a dad but just the opposite i get my grand kids out an tellem to hit em (jumps) hard hang on an stay on top off da bike an if ya's come of don't start sooking just get back on an try again don't be skeard.
my advice is to get ya dad to take ya to a bike park where there is bigger jumps (but don't let him now that) then go out an show him what ya can do but don't go to wild as you don't want to crash in front of him as then you will have no hope of getting bigger jumps at home good luck boys.
oww my grand kids are gyps (girl) 8 yrs old alex (this kid is cool when he crashes he stands on his bike arms up an yells yeahhhh) his only 4 start'd him when he was 3 the other boy is to little to ride but gets doubled around his name is deisel demon (no sh*t) we are hoping that he rides before he walks.

when i was young i had no jumps so i like welded up a half size ramp in my dads shed, my whole family ssaid i was mad
then i pushed it up to an old loading ramp and started jumping it with my old xr and they were all into as soon as they saw me land it and taking photos and shit

anyway just prove to him that its possible and your not going to die i guess

oi man wat i did i just organised it all while my parents where at work and got the 60 truck loads of dirt and then i got shovel and started jumping it all and ma parents go if u are gonna build massive jumps u need a machinery to do it properly and they end up paying for it to lol but if ya need dirt just get free fill

just say that its the same as any other sport and if you want to be good you have to take a risk. Give him examples like rugby other things like footy. just keep nagging him and he will get sick of it and let you build them up

Just say dad im only 15, and i really love fmx..
If i had bigger jumps, i cud learn soo much more
and maybe get a good career out of it, u are young
and if u had the set up and support, you will most likely
get something out of it.. Most of the fmx riders just used
to ride mx all the time and they didnt start fmx till they were 19
or so, so imagine wat u cud do if u started now.. I say work hard,
save a shit load of money, and maybe buy a ramp 1 day, n just get
ur dad to make u some massive downramp.. And start from there..
